Blažek Sklo Poděbrady Ltd., need not be just a practical helper in your nails care, but also a nice souvenier, a promotional item or a small reminder of the traditional decorative glass techniques. In making this small object of everyday use, we have combined the functional and esthetic values in one piece, proving how interesting even common usage things can be.

Our company was established in 1933. After the restitution, we have continued the tradition of glass refinement and have developed some technological processes that guarantee the maximum quality of each nail file. In 2005, J. Blažek complied with all of the difficult requirements for the ISO 9001 and 14001 certification standards.

Simulated durability tests on our files´ abrasive areas have proved their extraordinary durability. All our files are made of heat-hardened glass that is not completely unbreakable, but its damage resistance is definitely one of the highest. The glass nail files made by our company are very gentle, yet effective tools in nail care. These attributes are determined by using a different way of manufacturing compared with other nail files. In addition, given that our nail file is made of the only material that is unexceptionable and at the same time extremely resistant, the heat-hardened flat glass type Float, it can be cleaned or desinfected with various cleaning agents. It can be sterilized using high temperatures, as well as hot steam, which is definitely not possible with some other file types, for example paper ones.

As from 1st August 2003 all our glass nail files have been carrying a holographic trademark, confirming that this is an original nail file, patented by Mr Dalibor Blažek and made as the first in the world by our company in 1997.
