Our company’s glass nail files are made of the flat glass type FLOAT which is completely health-faultless. Glass files are made by etching in a combination of sulphuric acid and fluoride hydrogen acid. Our company complies with all the health regulations for treating these acids, which is proved by gaining the ISO 14001 standard certificate.
After the etching of the abrasive area, the glass is washed in water four times, so that the final product is a glass object (a nail file) that does not contain any dirt or anything else and is therefore health-faultless. To increase the hardness, toughness and durability (the breakage resistance) and through this the safety for the user, the glass file is then, after cutting its shape, heat or chemically hardened. Even this process does not pose any health risks through using this product (a glass file). Our company has been using this way of manufacturing since 1997.
